ACCESSTOUR Exhibition & Conference: Accessible Tourism for Outdoor - and Urban Routes (Amsterdam, the Netherlands)

The first international Accessible Tourism conference in the Netherlands is the result and final stage of the European ACCESSTOUR project. The project addressed the increasing number of people with accessibility needs that want to travel by developing standards for design of accessible tourism routes. At the conference the project results will be presented and all European partners will be present.
The conference will be kicked off with a welcoming word of the project coordinator Massimo Canalicchio and the project member and conference organizer Veroniek Maat. After the kick-off a keynote presentation will be given by Mieke Broeders from Toegankelijkheidsbureau België. Her presentation will be about the accessible tourism policiy in Vlaanderen.
Invitees include tourism marketing agencies, tourist offices, tour guides, tourism experts and suppliers of accommodation and transport. For the visitors of the conference 3 workshops will be organized. Visitors can attend 2 workshops of choice.

Workshop 3. Providing accessible guided tours
