Theme: "What Future for Tourism For All? Innovative Tools"
Innovation, whether social or technological, opens up opportunities for tourism actors involved in the development of Tourism for All with respect for the people and their environment.
Three types of innovation can be defined: Product innovation (related to new products or services or new or improved method of production), Communication and Distribution innovation (significant changes at promotional level); and Organisational innovations (new organisational methods and processes in practice).
In this context, the Forum proposes to focus on the theme of innovation and more specifically the tools to innovate in the area of Tourism for All, through three main areas of intervention that are spread out in the various plenary sessions and workshops.
These areas are:
1. Corporate Social Responsibility
The concept of corporate social responsibility (CSR) refers to the consideration, on a voluntary basis, of social and environmental concerns. How can CSR apply itself in our sector and how can it be used as an innovative tool to better communicate and promote the Tourism for All sector, in connection with the Global Code of Ethics for Tourism?
2. New technologies
New technologies shape our society and produce significant changes in the tourism sector. What is the impact of new collaborative consumption patterns on our sector, especially in distribution, and how to use new technologies to enhance the advantages of Tourism for All, drawing on some best practices?
3. Innovation in programs and products
Innovation in products and programs in the Tourism for All sector is essential to cope with demand that is increasingly sought by the competition. What are the steps to follow and risks to measure to reach innovation in our sector and what are the examples of good practices that can inspire innovation in animation, the realisation of packages, accommodation, catering, etc.
